Vibrating process

It was the work of cutting the barrel tube, 3mm thick, SUS304welded structure, 800height,600mm diameter, on the part which is700mm from the flange below.
@The working used a vertical lathe, and clamped the flange on the end face of the barrel Naturally, We thought that vibrations would occur, and a butcher grooving tool would not enter. So, before installation, we attached, using gum tape, the oil resistant rubber on the inside of the barrel to prevent vibration.(The effect was that the sharp reverberation when it was hit was reduced.)

The working has finished without vibration.
Machining processing work (welding structure of SUS) and vibration damping rubber.

It is not necessary to cover the entire surface of the workpiece with vibration isolation rubber(covering part of it is sufficient)
Please make sure that there is no gap between the workpiece and the rubber vibration isolator.

@We habe been doing something similar for a long time. When the amount of protrusion of the turning tool was long and the cutting tool vibrated, when holding the shank with the handle of the bamboo brush, or when the work vibrated while cutting a long pipe, we used our hands to prevent vibration. We used our hands even in amilling operation.
